I've been playing the violin for almost twenty years, and have spent six years studying it in earnest. This experience has given me a really strong insight into what players want when they speak to a luthier, and I pride myself on being able to communicate in simple terms the effect my work will have on your instrument.
Whilst studying at Newark School of Violin Making, I focused on understanding the technicalities of an instrument's sound, and having full control over how an instrument works.
My aim is for you to have the best possible instrument available to you. A violin should be an extension of your arm, and you can only truly produce music organically when it's working at the absolute peak of performance. This peak is what I aim for.
