Beautiful French Trade Early 1900s 4/4 Violin
This instrument has a lovely rich tone and would be perfect for a student or a mid level player. The violin has seemingly had a tough life, but substantial woodworm damage has been treated and repaired meticulously restoring the instrument to its very attractive complete form. It's finally ready to be played again.
An incomplete label reads "Copie de Nicholas Aine", marking it as an instrument after the style of 1800s Mirecourt maker Didier Nicolas Ainé.
The tone is excellent, very calming and mellow with deep colours and a good response.
