With so many years of playing experience, I pride myself on understanding how an instrument should function. If you're not happy with the sound or feel of your instrument, however small your concern is, there's always something we can do. Your instrument should excite you - you should look forward to picking it up and playing it. If this isn't the case, I'll work with you to try to understand what's not quite right, and take the time to adjust until you're happy.
I understand that playing a stringed instrument can be expensive - that's why I like to be as transparent as possible when it comes to invoicing my clients. I like to keep everybody informed of what I intend to do to the instrument, along with how much I anticipate it will cost. If this changes during the course of my work, I'll always let you know.
With repair work, I'll quote you after examining the instrument.
With setup, we can discuss your needs specifically and work out the best service for you.
I typically charge a flat rate of twenty five pounds per hour spent plus the cost of any materials used.
